Multithreaded Operations
Using multiple threads to scan folders will speed up the overall Source / Target comparison. ViceVersa PRO also supports multithreaded comparison, multithreaded sorting, and pre-fetching of the Target while scanning the Source.
How does it work?
ViceVersa will use multiple threads to scan folders in parallel, up to 16 threads if needed. Multiple threads working at the same time will eliminate any bottleneck due to scanning each subfolder sequentially and having to wait for each subfolder to be completed before scanning the next one.
