I am a new customer and I downloaded VV Pro. I like the program but after setting the program to 'mirror', it copies for awhile and then slows down and stops. Although VV says it's still copying to source, source shows no increase in directory size. I am using Win 7 Pro 64bit. How do I get the program to keep copying from source to taget. Please help.

Correction, Source says it is copying but Target directory will not increase in size.

I can report progress. I am not a programmer person but I think I was experiencing the point when the data was being copied over but still had no labels. The VV window showed no progress for the longest time then I saw multiple passes that appeared to be labels being applied. I was patient and finally I now have a complete copy of a Windows 'User' complete with all 'hidden' files like AppData. I assume the err messages about NTUser no access relate to Windows OS? I am happy but still have questions. I assume I can make another profile for another HDD. I would like to know for certain that nothing I do will cause the Target to affect the Source. I would like to know if I delete a file from the Source, will VV delete the file from the Target. I just want to refresh the Target from the Source. I would also like to know how to schedule the Source to refresh the Target. So far I am liking this App and intend to buy it.

In general not, but it depends also on your copy method. To be sure lock the source (see help file), then ViceVersa will never allow changes to the source, deletions or copies.

If backup/mirroring or sync yes, see:

The best option is VVEngine: https://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item18.htm
