Hi,

When I try to compare and execute files from my C drive to my external F drive, I keep getting a "Cannot access folder F:\System Volume Information\. Folder excluded. Do you want to continue" error message. Is there something that I need to configure on the hard drive itself or am I setting up the software wrong?

Thanks,
Shiggs

Is it reasonable to assume that VV wants/needs to access this folder? If so, do the steps mentioned in the article (from the link you gave), allow this access?

What are the implications of not allowing VV access to System Volume information?

thanks

Hello, when doing a backup it is not needed to copy this folder: I would exclude this folder using the folder filters in the profile settings.
