I am evaluating viceversa. I am having a particular issue on multiple computer testing out the product before a decision is made. Let's say you have a profile with two source/destination configured. save the profile, use vvlauncher with it without any issue. Then if you decide you need a third folder replicated you open the profile, add it, save again and boom there is the problem. Everytime we modify a profile and try to run it with vvlauncher, the tracking database has to be reset for some reason.

Having a solution for this issue would be great.

Thanks

When you modify the profile source/target pairs the tracking database needs to be reset, this is by design.

Is there a way to automate the reset database process as soon as you modify the process and try to save or execute ? This would be a very viable workaround. Or even having a popup that comes up with "You need to reset the tracking database, do you want to do this now?"

Thanks for the fast answer.

Regards,

Simon

Hi - when you run ViceVersa in "manual" mode (eg clicking on compare in VVLauncher) a dialog pops up asking if you want to reset the db. But not in automatic mode....
