I am using VV version 6 method Synchronization with an external disk as the source and two different computers as targets (one at home and the other at my office). In the last 6 months I noticed that some directories are empty in my computers and of course they were not empty.
Did anyone experience the same issue? Is there any solution?

Hi, do you have a log setup in the profile settings?
If you have a profile log, please send it to support via email.
Also do you have all source / target pairs in the same profile and is the office connection a remote connection? VPN?

thanks

Here’s how to set up a profile log in ViceVersa PRO (via the Profile Settings):

1. Open the profile
- In ViceVersa PRO open the profile you want to edit (File → Open Profile or select it from the main window).

2. Open Profile Settings
- Click Profile Settings (from the main/comparison window) or choose File → Profile Settings.

3. Go to the Execution (Logging) section
- Select the Execution group/tab where logging options are located.

4. Enable logging and choose a log file
- Turn Logging on.
- Enter the full path for the log file or click the file selector to choose it.
- You may use variables in the log name/path (for example <year>, <month>, <day>, <dayofweek>, etc.).

5. Adjust logging options (optional but common)
- Max Size: set a maximum size for log files.
- Empty log file each run: tick this to clear the log at the start of each run.
- Log only summary and errors: smaller logs with only summary+errors.
- Log comparison status to CSV: exports BEFORE/AFTER comparison CSVs (logname.start.status.csv and logname.end.status.csv).

6. Save the profile
- Save the profile (File → Save Profile or Save Profile As). Profiles use the .fsf extension.
