Is it possible to sync multiple laptop PCs (20+) to a single server where each laptop syncs a unique set of folders (not all folders sync'd to all Laptops?

Can connection between laptop and server be a webdav type folder to folder connection or does it need to be a IPsec VPN.

We have some users that their ISP does not permit IPsec type VPNs but we do have a SSL VPN connectivity to the server for all users.

Yes, this is possible. We tested Viceversa with WebDav folders on Windows XP and it worked fine. VPN is the preferred way.
