I have a bidirectional sync profile that is running real time using the VVLauncher (running as a service).

Do open files get a lock put on them so that they can only be modified on one side of the sync?

I tested using a TXT file, but VV saved the last one that was saved and tossed the changes made before that.

VV copies the newer file over the older file and blocks the target during copy and, so it does not overwrite any newer data.
