I'm running VV Pro V5 64-bit , build 5005 on a, i9 13th gen Windows Pro PC. I want to backup files from my Windows PC to an Unraid server connected to my LAN but have not been able to get it to work.

In the VV Pro profile settings, I selected the Network button on the Folders menu. This brings up a window to enter the login credentials for the Unraid Server. I enter the following \\192.168.1.99\media\. This corresponds to the path name of the folder I wish to access on my server as I can see it on my network. I also enter the User and Password info. I then enter an unused drive letter, in my case "J:" to map the drive during VV Pro Backup operations. When I press the "Test Connection" button, I receive a notice from VV Pro that I'm connected to \\192.168.1.99\media\. So far so good!
I also checked the disconnect when done box.

I then go back to the folder screen and enter the previously designated "J:" drive as the target. I want to backup files from my Windows machine to the Unraid machine. Everything else is setup exactly as I normally have it when successfully backing up from one detached drive to another on the same PC machine. I've done that without problems for many years.

Here's the problem.
When I hit the button to Compare and Execute with Rescan, VV Pro finds the Unraid server OK, but is unable to see any of the files that already exist on that system in the specified folder. It wants to delete all files from the target drive and rewrite everything. This should not be necessary as I can access the Unraid server via windows. Its mounted as the U: drive) and 90% of the files are already present and up to date. Those files were initially copied using a Windows Power Shell process, but that's too cumbersome to continue. I need to use VV Pro to keep this up. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Trial and error isn't working for me
Sad

Hi Larry, thank you for posting on the forum. Could you send some screenshots of the ViceVersa side-by-side comparison window to support via e-mail? thanks!
