Comparison Window Explanations

I am new to ViceVersa. And I am trying to compare folders on different hard drives. I maintain a few copies of all my photos. When looking at the Comparison Window, I am not sure about what I am looking on.

The Source folder has some files with a red ball next to the file name. What does the red ball mean? I don't see where that is explained in your help system.

The same thing might happen at the Target part of the screen.

Where can I find out what everything in the comparison window means.

Where can I find a manual for this program? As oppose to FAQs.

So one way is to start VV, press F1 for Help, click on the Search Tab and type :

comparison window

then double-click on that Topic Name.

or

when the Comparison Window is showing in VV, click the '?' icon on the bottom left of the screen.

Not sure there is an manual for VV btw

I was able to find a page that answered some of my question. They really should more than consider creating a user manual. What is it with software developers that they don't like to create a user manual. Especially for someone new to the program. Thanks for your help.
