Hello, recently I found a bug where folders with files inside of them do not get their original date created copied over to a new destination. You can test this out with any folder with files contained within, even for subfolders. Folders with nothing inside retain their date created when copied to a newer destination. So it seems like there is some bug when copying folders only. My source is my samsung galaxy s8 internal storage in a mapped network drive using the software called MTPdrive. I can provide pictures if you want to see them. I don't know how to upload pictures in this forum. Thank you & Hope to hear some suggestions

This is a completely new version of viceversa ? What sort of changes are being made if I may ask ?

It is a new version of ViceVersa, but not a complete redesign. The software stays the same but there are a number of significant improvements: it will be faster when copying / deleting files in a non-automatic mode, for example, there will be multi-threaded comparison options, etc.
We will publish a detailed list of changes/improvements with the beta release. Once we have released version 4, then we will keep improving the software and adding new functionality periodically.

is this why development took so long ?? Also, will file and folder management changes be made also across different filesystems ? like ext4 on movile devices and NTFS/FAT32 it seems like with MTP protocol people want the old functionality of data management with UMS back

We are working very hard and should be out soon. We have optimized many parts of ViceVersa and especially when working with several million files.

Hi, I am sorry but that is not supported, that would require support for MTP “Media Transfer Protocol", but ViceVersa does not support it.
