Timestamp problem NOT NAS

I am getting 200+ files not synch'd to my laptop because of error saying the timestamp has changed since the comparison (plainly not true). I wasa getting this with verison 1 so upgraded to 2 and still its a problem (only satartged appearing a week or so ago after synching for months wth no problem.
Ideas???

I checked the 'copy files even if timestamp changes...' box - this enables these files to be copied. BUT if I immediatley do another comparison, I get the same list of files to be synch'd...

what type of drives are you using as source + target?
