| I have a problem with ViceVersa Pro. A task that has been running weekly runs but lately cannot be terminated. The switch to or retry box cannot be closed despite countless (hundreds) of times of retry. Switch to brings up the start menu. I have created a new task but the result is the same. To terminate the task requires killing the task via the Task Manager and start the task manually. |

Hi, is the task run via VVScheduler, VVEngine, or batch file?
Please check the profile log (location: ViceVersa profile settings -> execution). Does it show where ViceVersa is stuck? thanks

Can you set up a log in the profile settings and run the profile from VVScheduler, then send the log to support via e-mail? thanks

Hi, thank you for sending the log.
The task is set to /autocompare so VVScheduler will open ViceVersa, show the side-by-side comparison, but not close it automatically, so the task is not terminating automatically.

Sure. After the autocompare, I execute the task. This runs OK but it is not possible to close the task after the execution,
Please advise - I can end the task via the task manager but this is not very elegant. This task has been run for many months correctly but recently will not end the task.

| Further to my post below, the log file clearly shows the execution. However, it doesn’t show the non-completion and quasi hang-up at the end of execution. I will send a screen shot of the hang-up via email |
