is this normal behavior?

I did a bunch of pruning on my remote, and for the server, which has VVP installed.. it involved deleting 7.05 gigs and 6768 files.

it took 3 hours and 12 minutes.

if I deleted them using explorer, it would have been <b>a lot </b> faster.

these files were all on the server (same machine as VVP) as well.

is this normal?

A way to speed up this is to not send files to the Recycle Bin when deleting. You can set this in the preference dialog (main window->view->preferences)
