Hi,

I'm having intermittent issues with VVEngine. After logging on to Windows VVEngine reports "Target: folder "\\TheNAS\VV_xxx\" not found. The network path was not found."

I've been asking the user to open Windows Explorer, navigate to the "NAS" and click on the share. They then manually run the profile which concludes successfully.

For another user, I have set up a service account which mostly works fine. Periodically, though, VV Engine fails with the same error "Target: folder "\\TheNAS\VV_xxx\" not found. The network path was not found."

Your thoughts?

Hi, have you already entered network authentication info in the ViceVersa profile settings? Profile Settings -> Folders -> Network.

Umm, no. Didn't even know such settings existed. Embarassed

Thank you! I'll try the settings and advise outcomes.

I'd like to test for a few more days but so far that seems to have done it. Again, thank you.

As an aside, the absence of a manual is felt here. I'd pay a little more for the software just to get a manual. I know there is a help file. I've now printed the contents to a PDF and will put up with the poor formatting that results. And, while that's a work-around for the time being, I think a fully-formatted manual would really help your many fans Smile

Great that it is all working now! Yes, we will need to add a printable manual to ViceVersa, beside the help file, like for VVEngine (VVEngine has a printable PDF).

I'd be happy to proofread it for you if that helps?
