Really frustrating this software, was working ok for a day now doesn't. It won't sync with my Network drive VWENGINE, if I just used ViceVersa Pro it works perfectly but I wan't it to auto synce as well. I have googled come across a few solutions and tried them and nothing. So what am I doing wrong please some give me an idiots guide as to why VWEngine can't seem to read or accsess my network drive when ViceVersa can.

I am fed up with error

Folder not accessible: \\OURNASDRIVE

Hello,

Sorry for the trouble you are having with VVEngine.
VVEngine runs in full elevated admin mode while ViceVersa it self does not.
Did you setup to run VVEngine as a service (if yes, under which account) or just running it as a standard program under which account?

What are your source and target folders?

thanks

Just running as normal, I tried the fix by setting it in network in viceversa to IP, click test connection and says connected. Still VWEngine says Status Details: Folder not accessible: \\OURNASDRIVE\public\ALL WORK CENTRAL SERVER\

Do you need to authenticate this connection with user + password? You can enter that info in profile settings -> folders -> network.

Try running ViceVersa "as administrator"... ie right click on the ViceVersa icon and select "run as administrator". When run this way, is ViceVersa able to access \\OURNASDRIVE\public\ALL WORK CENTRAL SERVER\

Did you try the IP instead?

thanks

Vice Versa has no issues, it works perfectly, However VWEngine is the problem, it doesn't auto sync making the live monitor usesless. The only reason I am contemplating even getting this software is because of this function. However my trial has now expired and I will not be subscribing when I can't get what I want to work.
