file owner

Hi

unable to copy file and folder NTFS owner.

getting the error: "can not copy owner information to folder.....this security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object.] Error
for all files and folders

* both source and target volumes are NTFS
* the copy permissions,security attributes, under advanced settings is checked. also under Details tab, the copy file/folder owner is checked too 9as well as all other tabs)
* i run the application with domain admin user

please advise

Hi, yes the error is:

"this security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object"

so the owner cannot be applied to the target object.
