Each time that Microsoft does a Windows 10 update, or at least a major one, my VVEngine is wiped clean, requiring me to set up all of the backups all over?

Is the VVEngine setup to run as a service or just a normal start-up program? where are the profile and VVEngine settings stored? thanks

VVEngine is running as a service. Profiles of VisaVersa are not lost, stored separately. It is just the profiles that are set up in VVEngine that disappear, leaving VVEngine completely empty.
