I'm performing a Backup from a Source that is a directory under CVS control. In order to avoid copying all the CVS folders to my Target I've checked 'Exclude hidden subfolders' in the Subfolder Filters section of Profile Settings. After an Execute I still have the hidden CVS folders in my Target. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using VV Pro Build 2009 if that makes a difference.

Hi - if the CVS folders are already present on the target, they will be excluded but not deleted. Exclusion avoids that objects are copied from source to target and viceversa but will not delete object if they are already on target or on source.

Thanks for the quick response. I indeed had added the exclude filter after I had already performed an initial Backup from Source to Target.

When I deleted my Target directory and ran the Backup again the hidden folders were excluded as expected.
