I've elected to use the e-mail notification on errors for profiles running across a VPN channel.
Although I've elected to only get email notifications on errors, I also receive notifications through the Windows 10 notification system of those profiles running through VPN even though they complete with OK, but there are actually no emails attached to them. I do however also get the emails when there are errors.
I appreciate this operation, and do not suggest it be changed, but what comes to mind if I would like to elect also not to receive notifications for profiles with no errors.
I've honestly no clue as to how your email sending and the windows notifications are stitched together, but it might be nice to have an option to allow or block the notifications in the same way as the emails.

On the far lower-righthand corner of windows 10 is the notification call-out. It notifies you of all events, in this specific case, e-mails that arrives in you inbox.
The notification is not generated by Vice-Versa, but rather as a result of the e-mail send by vice-versa on completion.
On errors, Vice-Versa would send and I would rightly so receive the e-mail and then a notification generated by windows e-mail system to notify me of the arrival of an e-mail in my inbox.
It so happened that I had also received notifications when there was actually no e-mail since the task completed successfully.
This behavior seemed to have stopped and I would therefor now suspect, that it might rather be a glitch, in combination with windows notifications and the settings for e-mail in vice-versa. I will let you know if I have more clarity on the situation. |

Seem to get it now.
When you've elected to only select e-mails on errors, the following behaviour seems to hold true.
When there are errors during profile execution, you'll get a: ViceVersa Notification e-mail providing the relevant error information.
When profile have had errors on the previous run, and the new run completes without errors, you'll get a: RECOVERY E-MAIL providing a summary of the run results, even if you've elected only to receive e-mails on errors.
Please let me know if my interpretation is correct. |
