Number of install per license after upgrade to VV3?

The ViceVersa 2.5 Pro license allows installation on 3 machines.
The ViceVersa 3 Pro license allows installation on 2 machines.
Does this mean that if I upgrade from 2.5 to 3, I'll lose one installation?
