Hello Vice Versa community!
I am using Vice Versa Pro to sync to server shares over internet. Both servers are connected by a 8MBit SDSL connection to the internet, using a company VPN.
The Sync job is scheduled for every evening out of office hours.
Checking the log file after a successful sync, it shows that checking the volumes takes 2 days (650,000 files, 572,55GB).
The changes are only 145MB, 2,000 files - copying takes just some minutes.
Is there any way to shorten/optimize the checking phase?

Hi, what version of SMB do you have for that connection? In the log, is most of the time taken to scan a particular location? thanks

I don't know which Version of SMB is in use. Have to check with Server-Team.
It's not a particular location as long as I can see from the logs. We have three jobs running with some folders each and the overall scan takes that long.

An old log ... don't know why there is an error during scanning - connection is stable but this message is in every log. |

| I now checked the SMB Versions. As one server has 2008 R2 and the other 2012 the communication version falls back to SMB 2.1 - right? |
