Anyone have a list of 'standard' folder exclusions for Windows 8 or 10? I'm thinking about useless folders for browser junk, system patches, etc. Every time I attempt to create such a list I get lost and bored!

Hi,

Usually the following folders can be excluded from within user profiles. They are all in user\AppData\

\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History
\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\Art Cache
\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\
\Local\Temp
\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

Also other folders that can be excluded when copying a volume:

C:\Windows\Installer\
*\$RECYCLE\.BIN\*
*\System Volume Information\*
*\RECYCLER\*
*\I386
*\MSOCache
