| During synchronization ViveVersa is unable to delete a folder. It complains the folder is not empty. Upon check in Explorer a hidden folder (.svn) is present in the folder that cannot be deleted. I did not put that hidden folder there, but VV did during a previous sync. I want that VV deletes the folder anyway. Is this possible? |

Can you please post the ViceVersa log file showing this problem? You can enable the log file in the profile settings. thanks

Thanks, for the folder in question, what are its file security attributes? Are there other hidden or system files in this folder ?

| Everybody has full control over the folder. As I already mentioned, inside the folder a hidden folder is present (.svn). This hidden folder is copied there during a previous sync. Otherwise the folder is empty. |

| Dear mr. Site Admin, just to make things clear: my problem is not over yet. I understand your analysis that the folder cannot be removed because a hidden folder is present. But that hidden folder was put there by VV during a previous sync. If the hidden folder has been removed from the source, VV should remove the hidden folder and thus also the folder above it and not complain about 'unable to delete a folder'. |

From the log I can see the VV is not even trying to delete the hidden folder (.svn) but only the parent folder F:\u\TAXApp\VectorScan\ and it fails because the directory is not empty.
To solve this I need you to send a screenshot of the comparison window showing the comparison between source and target to support@tgrmn.com Please make sure the folder in question is visible in the screenshot. Could it be that the hidden folder is excluded? Is it a folder or a file? I see from the profile settings that you have excluded hidden files.

| OK, I think I almost understand it. You write that you can see in the profile settings I have excluded hidden files. After digging through the options I have found an option 'exclude hidden files'. I have unchecked it and will test if it works. |

It works. The folder is removed. Thanks.
Before this I used VV 1.3. Maybe I was forgotten I had turned the feature off in that feature or maybe it was default behaviour? |

The option 'Exclude Hidden Files' is not active by default.
It seems that the folder that could not be deleted contained an excluded hidden file, so the folder could not be deleted because not empty.
