Hi,
i have a problem with a fujitsu storagebird lan.
i always get the error message " [Can not create or replace "<<file>>". The file could not be accessed.] Error." (note: replace <<file>> with any filename).
this is also true with the older version vvpro 1.3.1
can you please help me ?
thank you.

ps: i already tried VV PRO 2 build 2.0.0.9, but there is no difference.

The Problem still exists. Maybe someone can help me with this ?
A friendly support person mentioned that i should try a debug-version, so more information is available about the situation.
where can i get a debug-version pls ?
A Pro-User, that would love to get help to this issue.

Obviously there must be an incompatibility between ViceVersa and the fujitsu storagebird lan. I propose that we create a special version of VV and send it to you to test. This will take a few days. What is your e-mail address that you use to purchase ViceVersa? thanks

I detected the same problem. I have been using ViceVersa for a few days now. Running a small home network: Laptop, Desktop, Router, Print Server, Network Disk (TEAC).

It is possible to copy with Windows Explorer from each computer to the Network Disk, but using ViceVersa I get the descirbed error messages. Funny enough, only Directories are created, the files within are not.

I am using the latest software version.

What has to be done??

We have got a special version of ViceVersa PRO which performs some extra logging for us to be able to understand where the NAS incompatibility is. Please contact support@tgrmn.com if you are interested in running this version. thanks

I was attaching the log file from the debug version to an email reply for your support team.
Would be very good when you can find a solution.
Greetings,

Unfortunately it seems that the Teac NAS you are using and Viceversa are not incompatible. The NAS seems to be failing implementing some of the basic file / disk Windows APIs.

I am using a fujitsu storagebird lan, not teac. the other poster here named guest was speaking from a teac.
nonetheless i will check if fujitsu has an update for the firmware or somewhat else.
thanks for now,
lian
