Hi
I'm using VV 2.5 x64 on Windows 2008 Server (x64). When I do a backup (mirror source to target) to an external hdd, if there are a lot of deletes to be done VV runs the processor flat out and causes the OS to grind to a halt. Limiting the speed on the slider has no effect.
Can you recommend a solution to this? Also is it possible to tell VV to permanently delete files rather than move the to the recycle bin? This would obviously improve performance.

Yes, try ViceVersa Main Window -> View -> Preferences and dis activate the option "Use Recycle Bin" when deleting.
