In the next release of ViceVersa a lot of improvements will be added re Multi-thread comparing, both for scanning files and CRC / SHA-256 computation.
There will be the option to compare source and target in parallel which under certain circumstances it will help a lot (up to 50% quicker) in some of our tests.
We will have a beta available soon if interested to test it in advance, please contact support via e-mail.

We are seeing two to three times the current speed over SMB network and low latency connections with the new multi-threaded comparison and scanning... with or without CRC calculation. It's looking very good! Cool
