Although some post here are concerned with date modified being changed to the sync date and time, apparently build 2014 should solve these issues. Unfortunately, it doesn't.

We have two servers A and C in two different locations which sync the same area (consolidation only) via a third server B in a data center. So A syncs with B and C with B using VVPro2.2014 on A and on C.
While A is Windows 2003 and B is Suse Linux, C is running on Windows 2003 SBS.
Sync between A and B: date modified both of uploaded and downloaded files is OK
Sync between C and B: date modified of uploaded files (C->B) is OK, however date modified of files downloaded to SBS (C<-B) is changed to current date and time, create date does not change.
Of course, a further sync will replace the files on B with the allegedly newer files from C, which will than propagate to A. And so on!
The only files not affected are those created (resp. last modified) on C.

When I copy directly from A to C (which is not what we want to do), be it using VV or Explorer: no problem. I currently don't know if copying with Explorer from B to C does change the date modified, but if needed I could check this.

The option "Copy directly to destination file (do not use a temporary file)" is checked both on A and C.

Maybe I should mention A and B are in time zone GMT+1 and C is in GMT.

Any idea(s)?

Hello, thank you for the detailed post.

Yes, it would be quite helpful to know this.

I suspect it may be related to copying timestamps from Linux Suse to Win 2003 SBS... does the same issue happen when copying from B to A with VV, or that direction never happens?

I think the best way to debug this issue is to run a special version of ViceVersa, if interested please write to support@tgrmn.com

thank you
