I'm trying to mirror files from a workstation to a server. I have 1,328,305 files in the source directory and 1,068,778 in the target directory. The error pops up when it's it's in the "Sorting Files..." mode. I've tried using ViceVersa Pro 2 and ViceVersa 1.3, both with the same error.

Help!

The amount of files is OK, VV can handle that and much more.
Do you see a DMP file created in the ViceVersa directory or in c:\ ? If so can you send that to us? It contains crash info we can use to reproduce the issue on our machine. thanks

Didn't see the DMP file... It could be cause I exited the program when it crashed. The good news is that I don't get that error anymore after enabling the longer folder support. The problem I have now is that it freezes. It gets to the sync stage and just keeps running, without actually doing anything. I can tell cause the CPU time doesn't change. It doesn't use the CPU anymore...

How are you running ViceVersa? (Automatic, Manual)
On which version of Windows?
At which point it freezes?

hi,

i got the same error message.

I'm running ViceVersa PRO 2 on Windows SErver 2003.

ViceVersa is running 3 Profiles each Scheduled via the Windows Task Planer. Each running well (some copy errors - but that's ok for me) - sometimes there is no entry in the Log-file (don't know why).

The maschine is restarting every night. Always on startup (bevor loggin on as User) i get this error message!

please help!

Can you post the log file ?
If you are not using the latest VV PRO 2 build 2010 please download the latest version.
