I have noticed that if I have the comparison set to "both" and say I delete a folder full of files in the target dir. It will not recopy the files back from the source. Now if I only use crc it will. I am using the Replication (update target) BTW for execution. What I'm going to be using this for is we use our laptop to download all our digital pictures from our camera. I like to copy pictures and folders up to my server for backup. But i'm not alway's on top of getting them copied. I'd like to get this setup to automatically copy the files over to my server. But If I delete pictures off my laptop to free up space I do not want it to delete them from the server. So I got that working using the type of execution I dicribed above. However for a saftey net if for some reason I or anyone else deleted pictures from the server I want it to see the change when I tun on the laptop and re copy them back to the server. However by using the time stamp option it see's a confilct and dose not re copy the pictures. It looks like just using crc works. Is there a way around only using CRC and still have it recopy if something get's deleted from the target?

I hope I explained that ok Wink

thanks in advance.

Hi , could you send a screen shot of the ViceVersa comparison window to support@tgrmn.com so we can check why the files are not copied to the server? thank you!
