the VisaVersa help file says:

"VVLauncher can be run as a Windows Service on 2000, NT, XP, 2003."

my question is how do I set that up?

Try VVLauncher (download from www.tgrmn.com). The service setup is described in the help file.

so I followed those instructions and it seems to be running correctly.... but when I hover over the green (with red exclamation) sys tray icon it gives me an error about telling me that I need to run comparison to deal with a conflict. So I right click on the sys tray icon and select “show comparison” and I get the following error “no viceversa project set for the vvlauncher service” btw I get the same error if I select the view viceversa log option.

According to the the vvlauncher log file it is using the correct project file

08/04/2005 10:40:25 [3486605.558-PID:1560] * Enabled * Run at startup - Run every 5 minutes if file changes are detected - Run as soon as file changes are detected. (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\project1.fsf)
