can you put a filter on which files get compressed?

I have compression turned on, but some files would be better off not being compressed. Files like mp3, mpg, wmv, zip ... these files are already in a compressed format and gzip'ing them isnt going to make them any smaller ... might even make them a little bigger.

so is there someway to exclude them from being compressed?
