Mirroring a network drive - just stops!

I am trying to mirror imformation from a couple of network drives using your trial version of VV pro before we make a purchase.

I have it all setup and it starts and everything appears to work fine. After it is complete I go back and check the folders where I am copying the files and only half are there.

I check the log ... and there appears to be no errors - it just stops!

snip - as it oks a lot of files

and just stops here. The problem is that is only half of the information on that drive! Why is it stopping?

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Are you in the position to try the new ViceVersa PRO 2.0 Beta (download from this forum) on the data or is this production data? We made improvements to the logging and copy algorithm that may have solved the issue you are seeing.

Well it is important data within my office that needs to be backed up.

How stable is the Beta?

I shall give it a try. But I really don't understand why VV should have a problem with what I am asking it to do. It is a simple copying task!

I'll take a look at your Beta and see if it helps.

I have just tried the beta last night ..

It crashed with out backing up anything.

I have emailed you the dmp file and the log.

I hope you can help.

We got the dmp file. The crash is caused by an invalid file timestamp. The issue has been fixed in beta version 2.0.0.5 - thanks

I have 2.0.0.8 installed and it crashes with timestamp errors.

This is most probably another problem with timestamps. If you mail to support@tgrmn.com we can send you a new VV version that should solve this issue. This is build 2.0.0.9 beta.
