i want to use vice versa tyo update a powerpoint file that is running on 10 machines which screens attached being used as display boards!!!! Howver every time it updates it says it can not update as the file is in use!!

Is there a way round this???

It is impossible to overwrite a file that is in use with a new file.
You can copy from a file that is in use to a file that is NOT in use, but you can not copy over a file that is in use...
you will need to shutdown powerpoint, overwrite the file and finally restart powerpoint.
