suddenly, vvengine does not load multiple profiles.
1- how to restore previous existing profiles?
2-- why were profiles lost, not loading? no changes made to OS.
thanks

Hi, all VVEngine schedules and settings incl profile list are kept in the file VVEngine.xml , usually at this location:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\VVEngine\VVEngine.xml

Do you hare that file?
also a backup copy is kept at VVEngine.xml.bak

thanks

This happens frequently so I do have a backup copy of VVEngine.xml, but it is essential that VVEngine is Killed from the Windows Task Manager before copying it back. Otherwise it will be overwritten with the current, empty profile list on exit.

So to restore VVEngine.xml you need to:

1. Kill VVengine (2 processes)
2. Copy VVEngine.xml using Replace
3. Restart Windows* to reinstate VVEngine to Taskbar

* or just run VVEngine for one-off backups if you don't wont to restart Windows right away
