Hi guys!

I have Windows 10 Pro x64 with ViceVersa v2.5 build 2519 and VVEngine v2.1 (Build 2106) installed.

For some reason precomp.exe consumes 23-25% of CPU usage on a constant basis.

Any ideas? What does precomp.exe do anyway?

Best regards,

Precomp.exe is not part of ViceVersa... after searching for Precomp.exe on Google it seems more like a problem of Windows 10. Maybe use Process Explorer to find out the location of precomp.exe : if in a temp location or user data it's probably not part of Windows and can be deleted.

Thank you for your reply.

The file is located here:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\VVEngine\Precomp

...and therefore I thought it was part of VVEngine. Not so?

Its directory contains the following files:

config
msvcr120.dll
OpenCL.dll
precomp

Hi, no it's not part of ViceVersa or VVEngine.
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\VVEngine\Precomp
Also all the files in the folder Precomp are not part of VVEngine.

Thank you! I have deleted the files. It could be a crypto currency miner.
