- No overwrite / read-only / error confirmations

- Log only summary and errors
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- No archive for deleted/replaced target files
- Copy files even if timestamp changes after initial comparison
- Copy directly to destination file (do not use a temporary file)
- No empty source/target check
- Copy files even if they have timestamp errors - Replace newer target files with older source files (backup only)

I still have about 3000 files that are not being moved over from the NAS since they have a date of 1967. Any ideas on what my options are to rectify this?

I saw this thread in the forum .....

To check if this is the reason also in your case, select a file on the NAS using the Windows Explorer. Right click and select "Properties" from the context menu. In the properties check the created, modified, etc. timestamps. Are they in the future (eg >2020)? Or are they in too much in the past (eg <1970)? If so ViceVersa will skip these files because their timestamp is invalid.

Do I need to find a utility that changes the dates of the files on the NAS?
Is that my only option? Nothing I can do to force VV to push the files to the target?

Hi, there's an option that could be useful:

Copy files even if they have timestamp errors: When this option is enabled, ViceVersa will copy files even if they have timestamp errors. Normally, ViceVersa does not copy files with timestamp errors and instead an error is reported. For example, ViceVersa does not copy files with timestamp set before 1st of January 1970. Use this option to copy all files anyway. Note that if you are using the Synchronization method, this option can generate additional file conflicts, so it is recommended to fix the incorrect timestamps instead of enabling this option. Also note that the timestamp of the file with timestamp error is not changed by ViceVersa, however the file is copied if this option is enabled. The destination file will get a timestamp set to 1st of January 1970.

This option is in profile settings -> advanced settings -> more settings.

OK, just so I am clear ....I did enable the option to copy files with time stamp errors.
So VV is indeed doing that but just reporting the errors?

can you post the log please? Is ViceVersa reporting an error for these files and not copying them?
