Backup mirror from shadow writer failing

I have 4 different shadow volumes that I have been backing up as Mirror image from the volume shadow writers. One has stopped working since I increased the volume size 2 times.

I get the following in the log:

It just does not copy the vhd and only produces a ~.tmp file placeholder.

Any ideas?

Hi, what's the size of the tmp file? Maybe try enabling the option to "copy directly to destination without using temp files" in the profile settings -> advanced settings. thanks

The size of the temp was 128 gigs which is the same as my volume size. I have disabled creating the .tmp file... Let's see how that goes.

The copy is still failing and I have modified the profile to not create the temp. It is still stuck on trying to write the shadow volume copy.

I have 3 other jobs that run just fine previous to this one, and at one point this one was also running fine until I increased the volume size of the virtual machine.

Any other suggestions?

One other strange thing is that if I open the profile and do a Compare and Execute, the copy is successful. It only happens when I run it as a batch job from the Task Manager. This job did run successfully before I changed the volume size.

Is the profile running always under the same account? Elevated/non-elevated?

All 4 jobs run at the Administrator level for that machine... 3 run correctly, and this one did at one time run correctly
