Hi,
I'm testing ViceVersa Pro trial for a possible use in our company.
I have configurated VV synchronization mode an it works fine.
Source: <userprofile>\my documents\
Destination: \\WBZ8MX1J\backup\<username>\
After changing the userprofile I've got die message:
Error in tracking database. Base directory information not found. "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\ViceVersa PRO 2\vvdb1.tdb". Aborting comparison.
After reseting the database, this user works but the old doesn't.
Is VV tracking database not able to work with multiple users?
Thanks

Hello - this error occurs because when you login with another user's credential the directory <userprofile>\my documents\ points to a different folder which is not in the tracking database. You will need to create a different profile for different users. thanks _________________ --

Hello once more,
I want to run VV on round about 700 Client Workstations.
A lot of that PC's are used by different users.
So there is no chance to create profiles manually and
"<userprofile>\my documents\database\vvdb1.tdb" doesn't work too.
Do you now a workaround for this problem to use VV in the described situation?
Thanks

What execution method are you using? If you use backup to mirror the local data to the server you can disable the tracking database (not needed for backup). Then it will work fine. _________________ --
