The Tracking database is sensitive to the letter-case of the path. This seems wrong. At least, this causes a problem when using the command line, as explained below...

Let's say I have a profile with a tracking database for syncing, where:

Source Folder=W:\Project700
Target Folder=\\I5\Macintosh HD\Project700

I open it and run it,... so far so good.

Now, I run the same profile from the command line, where are specified:
/source=W:\Project700
/target=\\I5\Macintosh HD\Project700

ViceVersa opens and displays:
Source Folder=w:\project700
Target Folder=\\i5\macintosh hd\project700

That is, the paths have been converted to lower case by VV. Why not, I don't mind... but that's enough to get the message "the tracking data base must be reset".

As I run this profile sometimes by hand, sometimes from the command line with /source and /target, this causes me trouble.

Hi,

yes, this looks incorrect, we will have to check the source code. In the short term, does it work OK if you setup the profile with lower case paths ?

thanks

Yes, it's ok to use shortcase letters, but cumbersome.
