I have a large amount of data that I want to move from one server to another server. I want the security attributes to remain intact on the new server. I have tried to select the advanced option to copy attributes but withoiut success.

Do I have to create a folder on the new target server first.

What is the recommended procedure to do this?

Hi

make sure that the source and target base folders start with the same ACLs. Also the two servers need to be part of the same domain.
