oulook synchronize

I am currently evaluating viceversa with a view to purchase. The programme seems to perform well but I have had a problem in synchronizing outlook files between two computers both of which have XP and Office 2003.

Synchronizing the pst file results in a second copy of the personal folders file being added to the target. The result is that when I compose a new email, I cannot access the address book in contacts presumably because there are two such address books.

I would be grateful for any assistance to resolve this issue.
