Is it possible to install and run ViceVersa Pro from a USB drive or CD/DVD? Or must it run from a local hard drive only?[/b]

Yes, you can put ViceVersa.exe on the media and run it from there. But you will need to register it on the client computer.

I just want to sync between 2 computers, a home and an office laptop, using a usb key.

I cannot install the program on the work laptop. can I still use VV?

Yes, just put ViceVersa.exe on the USB key and run it from there when you are at work.
