Hi Support,

When I am synchronizing 2 directories on differents systems, it seems that the permissions could not be set. The error messages are:

Code:
2007-08-10 12:58:04 : [WARNING] Unable to activate SeBackupPrivilege on computer \\hhbrun100\c$.
2007-08-10 12:58:04 : [WARNING] Unable to activate SeRestorePrivilege on computer \\hhbrun300\c$.

Althoug I am copying a subdirectory, the error message states that I do not have access to C$. Does the security needs to be set for the current user (the one which am copying with) to the C$ share?

The reason for my question is as follows. When I manually want to set the security, with the same user, I AM able to do this. Why does ViceVersa fail?

I want to add something.

The source and target are EMC Celerra systems, so, not "ordinary" Windows Server 200x file servers.

No,

The source is:

\\hhbrun100\c$\2fs1\a\aachitea\

destination is:

\\hhbrun300\c$\home_fs1\a\aachitea\
