Can't delete vv1.tmp file and a pst file

I'm trying to delete a vv1.tmp file on the target drive and an outlook pst and I am receiving an error message that the path name is no longer valid
but why can I still see it and how do I kill it off? Crying or Very sad

Are you trying to delete these files using the Windows Explorer?
