Permissions are not being copied over

Hi,

Just wonder if any of you have ran into this issue. I've been using ViceVersa for one week and could not find a solution.
I'm copying data from a server (Windows 2003) to a 750GB External HD. Both server and external HD are formatted with NTFS. The option "Copy permissions, security attributes and streams (NTFS only)" under the Advanced tab is selected. Method is "Backup (Mirror S to T)". The issue is that upon verification of the backup the permissions are not being copied over.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tons of data to move.

Hi, do the base source and target folder have the same permissions?

Thanks for your reply. Yes they do. I've read the documentation and it is one of the thing they mention. I made sure they had the same.
