I am using VVPro 2011. I am synchronizing a number of folders across VPN (mapped drives). Recently (last few months) I have been getting a lot of conflicts using Synchronization, even though the file has only been changed in one location. Even deleted files on one side are not being deleted, and show up as a conflict. It is a pain to manually reconcile every nite.

Any suggestions ?

Strange.... after having manually reconciled the conflicts, try resetting the sync tracking database in the profile settings. If it happens again, check if the file timestamps are copied correctly: it sounds like the file timestamps are not correctly copied.

I tried this again and also reset the database. Same results.

I unchecked the box called "copy even if the original changes". Now I see files with bogus dates of 7/1/1982 (??). I checked the box again.

Any other suggestions.

Thanks

Please upgrade to the latest build 2014 (free for registered users). It seems that VV is unable to copy timestamps from your source folder to your target folder or ViceVersa ....
