I am trying to have VV update files The time stamps on many of files are the same but the source files have 0 bytes. I don't want any of the 0 byte files to copy. I tried the date exclude filter with file size less than 1 byte, but it won't ignore the 0 byte files. The D/T stamps are the same and I don't understand why they are selected anyway.

Please help.

Hi,
ViceVersa PRO: try adding a file filter "Exclude files smaller than 1B"; it is under profile settings > file filters > date / size file filters > exclude file with size smaller than and select 1 byte.[/b]

I said I tried in my original post to use this filter and it did not work. Any idea why?

If the target files are > 0 byte, the files are included. To be excluded source and target must both be < 1 byte.
