My first post.

I'm very happy to have purchased ViceVersa and I'm very happy to be here.

I'm mirroring source to target. See my profile below.

VVLauncher is set to run when changes are detected and even when no change are made VVLauncher runs anyway.

So, I checked the log and system files from G:\ (target) are being deleted at every run. Files such as Recycler, System Information, Documents and Settings, etc..

I'd like to stop these files from being deleted every time. My main goal in purchasing ViceVersa was to mirror.

Here is my profile:

Profile File: C:\Documents and Settings\BooBoo\My Documents\ViceVersa PRO 2\profile1.fsf

Folders
- Source: "C:\"
- Target: "G:\"
- Include Subfolders: Yes
Comparison
- Comparison Type: Size and Timestamp
Execution
- Method: Backup (Mirror Source to Target)
- Log File: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa PRO 2\log1.log" (max 10000 KB)
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- No archive for deleted/replaced target files
- Speed: 100 Buffer Size: 32768 (flush the buffer every write)

Welcome! Smile

Are you monitoring changes in source and in target or only in source?

Are the target files such as Recycler, System Information, Documents and Settings, being deleted because no longer in source?

thanks

Try setting VVLauncher so that it does monitor target files, it will the run only when files on the source change.
