Can not change attributes... dir or file cannot be created

During a backup with VV Pro, I get 3,115 identical errors, all of which look like:

Can not change attributes of "______.enc". The directory or file cannot be created.

where the underscores are replaced by the name of the path+filename on the target drive

Tens of thousands of files, including some from the same source directory, seem to back up to the target without problems.

I am running latest VV Pro on WinXP Pro SP2. I am backing up from a large directory on my laptop's hard disk (C:\DJD) to a directory on a 16GB flash drive (F:\ViceVersa).

Hi, if you copy the same set of files using Windows Explorer does it work OK? thanks
