limit bandwidth to be universal

I can set the limit of file transfers it kbs or mbs.. it would be nice if I could have this limit apply to ALL file functions.. including re-comparisons of source and destination..

i.e. I can tell the software to synchronize at 30kbs (1/3rd of my upload speed) and not drown out my net connection.. but performing a comparison always runs full tilt.... with 20gb of files this is noticable...

Hi, try using the Process Speed setting, which controls overall VV speed. Note that if you set Process Speed to 50% it will also half the max bandwidth value.
